Ceasar Florido, Fino Sherry NV

Bodegas César Florido was founded in 1887 and is currently maintained by César Florido, a descendant of the founder. The winery is the oldest bodega in the town of Chipiona, located near Sanlúcar and about 50m away from the salty ocean breezes of the Atlantic. Fino Sherry NV is made with 100% Palmoino grapes, aged for one year in barrel under flor, the layer of yeast which gives the Finos their uniquely fresh and salty character. Notes of toasted almond, green apple and sage leads to a super fresh palate with further salty orchard fruit notes. A great wine to enjoy as an aperitif, or paired with any kind of seafood.
